Job Labor Cost Analysis

While TCR does not produce payroll and will not give you exact labor costs per job, you can get a close labor cost compared to amount of labor that was billed by using a few features in TCR. First, you need to set up an hourly rate for each driver and make sure their time is entered on every ticket. You also can account for labor overhead (i.e. workers comp, taxes, insurance, etc.) by adding a Labor Markup percentage in your Company settings. The report will also take into account if the job is marked as certified and use the certified labor rates if on the ticket the labor is marked as certified as well as if the time is OT or DT. You will enter in a date range and optional customer and job#. The report will pull together the total billing for that period and breakout the labor revenue and compare it to the labor costs as explained above, including any misc. time that is tied to a job. The report is sorted by customer and job, and will display the totals for each job.
