While most customer will use their accounting software to track and pay sales tax, this report allows you to see what invoices were created for a specific date range and show the totals by tax code. The report will show the tax rates, tax collected, taxable sales, non-taxable sales. Since the report can be broken down by multiple levels (state, county, city) for the same invoice, we do not show the report totals for anything but the tax collected. Keep in mind this amount can be used if you pay sales tax on the accrual basis (when invoiced) but not if you use cash basis (when payment is received).
