Currently TCR works only on Internet Explorer. In March 2017, we are planning on releasing a version of TCR that works on all major browsers.
Unnecessary add-ons in Internet Explorer can cause slower system performance. You can disable add-ons by typing 'no' in start menu bringing up the option to launch Internet Explorer without add-ons (this won't work for Windows 10). If TCR runs faster when we open it without add-ons, then disable the add-ons that you do not use. Windows 10 users will not have the option to run Internet Explorer, and will instead have to go through the steps below.
If you find that system performance improves without add-ons, users can disable add-ons with the following steps:
1) Go to IE settings
2) Go to "Manage Add-ons"
3) Select all the add-ons that you want to disable
4) Click on the Disable button at the bottom.
If TCR is still running slow, try to stop the any anti-virus programs that might be installed and re-launch TCR. If performance improves, it may be due to the anti-virus.
